The competition is fierce on season two of NBC's "The Voice," and we haven't even met the contestants.

I have this modest little theory that one of the main reasons NBC's "The Voice" scored surprisingly well last spring was Blake Shelton.

Show's emphasis on honest talent strikes chord with glitz-weary viewers.

Why is The Voice star so perfect to headline our Hot Husbands issue? He's got a potty mouth and a huge heart. He drives a pickup and will never trade his Wranglers for skinny jeans. He can shoot a gun and he'd take a bullet for his wife, Miranda Lambert. Plus, he gives great hugs.

Our fantasy: Every night, Blake sings us to sleep in the nude after making us laugh all day long -- the 35-year-old country star's hilarious banter on NBC's The Voice never fails to floor us.

'Drink On It' was released to country radio this week, a toe-tapping, mid-tempo tune about two things 'The Voice' coach loves: flirting and drinking.

When "The Voice" returns to NBC next month, vocal coach Blake Shelton will be nowhere around.

It's a Monday, and Blake Shelton is being shouted at and pulled in several directions at once during a photo shoot for The Voice. And this is an easy day.
