Born in Ada, 80 miles southeast of Oklahoma City, Shelton spent his summers sweltering on rooftops working for for his stepdad, who coincidentally was also a the “roofing boss,” according to Shelton.

“This is honestly the only Christmas album that I plan on ever making. And I wanted to do one that counted and is timeless and, hopefully, classic,” he says.
