The pop star, who celebrates her 29-date This Is What the Truth Feels Like tour with a concert on the Today show July 15, tells EW what to expect from the production.

On Wednesday, from the comfort of her Southern California home, Stefani participated in a teleconference with journalists from numerous media outlets to talk about her latest album and forthcoming tour.

“You know with the longer you live, the more you can kind of go back and see the, kind of, quilt, the fabric. You kind of put it all together and you go, ‘Wow. That was gonna happen, I didn’t know.’”

Gwen Stefani opened up about her no-makeup selfie that she posted to her Instagram last week, saying she was simply trying to take a cute picture to send to her boyfriend, Shelton.

Here, Stefani discusses her role as a designing woman, her new collections, her first solo album in ten years, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, and why, now more than ever, she’s in the best place of her life.

“Oh, I don’t give advice on anything. Are you kidding me? I’m just tryna find my way everyday. My advice is all I do is just pray, pray, pray.”
