Blake Shelton and Adam Levine's Bromance Is Still Going Strong: 'I Hope It Never Ends,' Says Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may be seeing each other now, but worry not: the country singer’s bromance with Adam Levine still appears to be in fine form.

At a press event Tuesday just before the second night of The Voice‘s live playoffs, Levine and Shelton poked and prodded each other as much as ever.

“It never ends. I hope it never ends,” Stefani – who’s currently dating the country singer – told PEOPLE as she watched Shelton stick his finger into Levine’s mouth. “That was so unnecessary and so gross. You’re a disgusting person!” the Maroon 5 frontman told Shelton.

“It makes me so happy when they go back and forth like that,” Pharrell Williams said of Levine and Shelton sparring on Monday’s live show. “Seriously, it makes me so happy. It’s just so funny ’cause he needs it!”

The crew of coaches appears to be closer than ever (Shelton told PEOPLE in August this particular combination “has the best and tightest bond”) and may even have an exclusive frat party in their futures to look forward to.

Shelton and executive producer and host Carson Daly often enjoy mixing bloody Mary’s during their downtime on set, and “every now and then I’ll talk Pharrell into it,” he told PEOPLE. “At the end of the day, he’ll have something with me.”

Williams is “a cheap date” though “because he never drinks, ever,” adds Shelton. “Like when you finally get him to have a drink, he’s like ‘Whoa! Whoa, man!’ It’s like, come on.”

Levine and Stefani’s drinks of choice are a little simpler – just plain ol’ beer, albeit out of a keg.

“Me and Gwen, we’re just going to get a keg of beer. I’ll do keg stands, like a frat,” Levine said, laughing. Added Stefani: “Let’s do it tonight!”
