Gwen Stefani Dishes on L.A.M.B. x Hanky Panky Collab

"L.A.M.B. has always been about trying to design my dream closet," says the No Doubt singer. And now, that includes lingerie.

The hits keep coming. More than a decade after launching her clothing line, L.A.M.B., Gwen Stefani is still on a style streak, launching the brand's latest fashion collaboration this month. Together with lingerie line Hanky Panky, the L.A.M.B. team has dreamed up four playful groups of pieces, inspired by Stefani's signature pop and tribal-infused prints.

"I've been a longtime fan of Hanky Panky and have been wearing it forever. I told the L.A.M.B. team I'd love to work with them on a lingerie collaboration, and from there it all just came together very easily," Stefani tells Pret-a-Reporter. "We had a million ideas about what we wanted to do. The only hard part was narrowing down the choices because we could only design a certain number of styles and patterns."

The result includes updates of L.A.M.B.'s most recognizable prints across Hanky Panky's best-selling boy shorts, camisoles, thongs, bras and even a teddy.

"We thought it would be cool to start the collection using some of the original L.A.M.B. prints," explains the mom of three, who cites the Lambie Camo set as one of her favorites. "There are so many great prints I still love, and it felt fun and fresh to bring them back as lingerie. We did the classic black-and-white old-English letter print that was the first print we ever did when launching L.A.M.B. We also did an updated version of the Lambie Camo print. We did these amazing cashmere L.A.M.B. hoodies in this pattern in 2004, and I still have one in my closet that I love."

Take a style cue from Stefani, and wear a print-splashed bralette under tanks with the straps peeking out for summer. "L.A.M.B. has always been about trying to design my dream closet," she says. "It's kind of selfish but a really fun and creative art project."

The L.A.M.B. x Hanky Panky collection, priced between $23 to $86, is now available on hankypanky.com and shoplamb.com.
