LARA SPENCER Welcome back to "GMA." Live in Central Park.
LARA SPENCER (Voiceover) We began with our Cover Story, that one-on-one with superstar Gwen Stefani opening up about her love life, Blake Shelton, her Las Vegas residency. You got it all, Adrienne Bankert.
LARA SPENCER She's here now and you sat down with her after opening night.
ADRIENNE BANKERT That's right and, Lara, I know you've interviewed her before.
LARA SPENCER Yes.
ADRIENNE BANKERT Isn't she charming? So captivating, stunning to look at and she's so real.
LARA SPENCER Yup.
ADRIENNE BANKERT The multiplatinum artist already larger than life. Her new show adds adrenaline, innovative digital displays, designer costumes and her life story, Vegas style.
ADRIENNE BANKERT (Voiceover) For over 20 years, she's produced the one of a kind soundtrack of a generation with hit after chart-topping hit. Now, Grammy award winner Gwen Stefani brings her music to Sin City on the Vegas strip for the first time this week. The show takes fans through a musical diary with home videos from her childhood in Anaheim, California, to the rock star fashion muse and mom of three today.
GWEN STEFANI I flirted with the idea of doing this show for a while, like, at least a year and a half, maybe two years. As a mom, like, it's hard to make decisions on how much you want to indulge your own, like, life.
ADRIENNE BANKERT (Voiceover) We were in the opening night audience and so was one of her biggest fans, Blake Shelton.
ADRIENNE BANKERT (Voiceover) And it was good to see him in the show with the cowboy outfit, too.
GWEN STEFANI Oh, that was awesome.
ADRIENNE BANKERT Does he give you that simple kind of life?
GWEN STEFANI He does. He's inspired me so much. He's changed my life. So, I was, like, you changed my show. You changed my life. You changed, such an inspiration.
ADRIENNE BANKERT (Voiceover) Also melting her heart, a message from her oldest son on opening night.
GWEN STEFANI I did get a text from Kingston before I went on stage. I was shocked and it was, like, "Mommy, break a leg. I love you." And I was like, "Wow. He thinks about me. That's so awesome."
ADRIENNE BANKERT (Voiceover) Throughout the performance, Gwen reveals her truth.
ADRIENNE BANKERT There was this one inspiring moment where you talked about you were losing confidence in yourself and then you got it back and it was through songwriting but how did you get back?
GWEN STEFANI I just prayed my way through, you know? And that's just being really honest and I, that worked for me.
ADRIENNE BANKERT What's your legacy?
GWEN STEFANI (RECORDING ARTIST/FASHION DESIGNER) I feel like my gift is just sharing my story, you know what I mean? That's all I had to offer.
ADRIENNE BANKERT (Voiceover) But there was one question we just had to ask.
ADRIENNE BANKERT Do you get tired of people asking what's next? Like, when are you getting married?
GWEN STEFANI Oh, all that kind of stuff.
ADRIENNE BANKERT And all of that.
GWEN STEFANI I don't know. I don't have, I don't know the future. All I know is that, you know, I have a lot of, a lot to look forward to.
ADRIENNE BANKERT You know, we're all for her future because we hope she doesn't go anywhere. We're so excited about her new Las Vegas show. It runs at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater through March of 2019 but you can get your tickets right now. It's a really unique show and like I said, she's running all over the stage.
