The Key to Blake Shelton's Heart? Pizza!

He may be a country superstar, but Blake Shelton doesn’t need caviar or lobster tail – a slice of pizza (or 10) hits just the spot.

“Look at me! I eat way too damn much pizza,” says Shelton, who, beginning May 18, stars in Pizza Hut’s commercials for a new line of barbecue pies. “I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, and pizza was one of the few options we had there, so I grew up loving pizza. This was the perfect opportunity for me.”

In fact, it’s not too surprising to learn that The Voice coach, 37, still craves a good pie after his shows.

“My tour manager always says, ‘What do you want?’ And I always ask for stuffed crust pizza. You don’t even have to put a topping on it. When we have a long flight somewhere, I always bring it.”

Barbecue pizza, though, is “literally my heaven,” says Shelton. Don’t believe him? “I actually built a barbecue smoke house like old times,” he says of an addition to the Oklahoma home he shares with wife Miranda Lambert. “It’s an actual house with a door on it to smoke things.”

Wonder what he’s cooking up for Lambert for their anniversary next week …
