Gwen’s Breaking Point On Love Split Rumours

Gwen Stefani has hit out at rumours that her marriage to Gavin Rossdale is on the rocks.

Her album track Breaking Up - said to be about how Gwen felt when she found out Gavin had a teenage daughter with Pearl Lowe - sparked speculation. But Gwen said: "If you think I have a bad marriage, you're mistaken.

"I am very happy with Gavin. You really shouldn't take all my lyrics literally. I co-wrote that song with Pharrell - we've become good friends by now and his experiences were also worked into the song. It is most of all about the fear of losing someone.

"I like to write about my sadness. It's therapeutic. But I haven't been with Gavin for years without a reason. We are more than good."

The pair welcomed the arrival of son Kingston last May and Gwen believes her son has definitely changed her for the better.

She said: "You become less egotistical when you become a mother, a good thing in my case.

"I live in a world largely revolving around me, whether I want to or not."
