Shelton's Barn & Grill coming in October

Blake Shelton's next CD is Barn & Grill, due Oct. 26. Bobby Braddock is producer for the collection, which includes a cover of Conway Twitty's "Goodbye Time" and the tongue-in-cheek single "Some Beach."

"I want this album to create a place," Shelton said. "I want it to create a bar or an old cafe, and I want listeners to go there when they listen to it. People need to feel good, just relax and cry and go through lots of emotions and have it all culminate in a good overall feeling."

Among the writers contributing songs to the collection are Harley Allen, Braddock, Shawn Camp, Jim Lauderdale, Roger Murrah, Paul Overstreet, Tom Shapiro and Shelton. A DVD, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill: A Video Collection, comes out Oct. 12.
