And today, you guys, Blake is here to celebrate his eleventh album it’s called Texoma Shore performing his first single I’ll Name The Dogs. Here he is, my love, Blake Shelton.

(Blake Shelton performing live on the plaza)

HODA KOTB (08:39:11): We're going to have more of Blake Shelton in just a minute. But first, this is TODAY on NBC.

(ANNOUNCEMENTS)

MATT LAUER (08:41:27): Welcome back to our Citi concert stage where Blake Shelton, times two, is performing.

HODA KOTB (08:41:34): I love having my twin here. This is like one of my favorite days ever.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:41:38): Yeah.

HODA KOTB (08:41:38): As we mentioned, you guys, Blake's got a new album. It's called Texoma Shore. It drops on Friday. Blake Shelton, hey, Texoma is a place near and dear to your heart. It's a spot on the map.

BLAKE SHELTON (08:41:51): Yeah. It's an area-- I was born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma, which is-- would be the northern end of Texoma. But it's basically-- like Texoma is the border between Oklahoma and Texas at one point there. And so that's where I grew up going to the lake and hanging out.

MATT LAUER (08:42:07): You bring out new music. That means you're going to get in the bus and you're going to go on tour, you looking forward to that?

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:12): Yeah, I am. It's actually a nice break from being stuck in L.A. for The Voice hanging out with Adam for months at a time. So it gets me away which is always nice to get away from him so.

HODA KOTB (08:42:23): How is it looking at Matt Lauer interviewing you in a dress like that?

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:26): I wanted to put that microphone between his boobs so bad and just-- and just interview me that-- there we go.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:42:33): His bra has a lot of support so--

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:35): Yeah, yeah.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:42:35): --it works.

MATT LAUER (08:42:36): Like you haven't had worst Friday night so I--

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:42:41): How is it going on The Voice?

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:42): It's going good.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:42:43): You feeling good?

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:43): I think it's-- I think it's going fine. We actually just-- we just finished up the blinds for season fourteen which is unbelievable. But what we're in the middle of now with Miley and Jennifer and Adam and--

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:42:56): It's good.

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:56): --it's so much fun. I can't believe--

CARSON DALY (08:42:58): It's amazing.

BLAKE SHELTON (08:42:59): --that we get paid-- do you get paid to do this?

CARSON DALY (08:43:00): No, no. I actually give them money.

AL ROKER (08:43:04): That's amazing.

MATT LAUER (08:43:05): So you're here in New York for Halloween. Are you staying? Are you going home? Or-- and if you're staying, what are you going to dress up as?

BLAKE SHELTON (08:43:11): I don't--

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:43:11): Hoda.

BLAKE SHELTON (08:43:12): Man, I don't know if I can top that. I'm going to be here. It's funny, yesterday, I actually bumped into Heidi Klum in an elevator. And she invited me to her Halloween party until she realized Gwen is not here with me. She's like, oh, that's fine she's not here. You don't have to worry about it.

MATT LAUER (08:43:29): All right. Are you going to sing another song?

BLAKE SHELTON (08:43:30): Actually this song is-- I don't know what you're doing today, what it's going to be like, but you got to-- you got to listen to the words of this song.

AL ROKER (08:43:38): All right.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:43:38): All right.

BLAKE SHELTON (08:43:38): I'm excited about it.

MATT LAUER (08:43:39): Blake Shelton.

(Blake Shelton performing live on the plaza)

HODA KOTB (08:47:23): That was the wonderful Blake Shelton. We'll be back with much more. But first, this is TODAY on NBC.

(ANNOUNCEMENTS)

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:49:38): Dolly Parton.

KENNY ROGERS (08:49:46): I am the real Kenny Rogers.

DOLLY PARTON (08:49:48): And I am the real Dolly Parton if there's such a thing.

KENNY ROGERS (08:49:52): There's no doubt about that.

DOLLY PARTON (08:49:54): Happy Halloween.

KENNY ROGERS (08:49:55): Happy Halloween, you guys.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:49:58): Whoa.

MATT LAUER (08:49:58): Couple of legends there.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:49:59): That's so exciting. You know, so much preparation goes into Halloween here on TODAY. And let's be honest, some people need more construction than others.

HODA KOTB (08:50:06): Yeah.

MATT LAUER (08:50:07): A little bit of work went into this. People always ask how do they talk you into this and how do you pull it off? Well, this year, I was lucky enough to get some pointers from the real Dolly Parton herself. Watch. Watch.

(Begin VT)

MATT LAUER (08:50:19): It's pretty well-documented by now that every other year or so on Halloween, the producers of this show convince me to dress up as a woman. But how do we decide which woman? Well, that's where this comes in, the Big Book of Halloween Ideas. And if we browse through the pages, well, there's JLo. But I've been there. Paris Hilton, done that. Pamela Anderson, nailed that. That brings us to Dolly. Where do you even begin?

DOLLY PARTON (08:50:52): Hello, Matt.

MATT LAUER (08:50:53): Hello, Dolly. How are you?

DOLLY PARTON (08:50:56): I'm good. Good to see you.

MATT LAUER (08:50:57): You, too. Are you okay with this?

DOLLY PARTON (08:50:59): Am I okay with it? I'm here to teach you how to do it.

MATT LAUER (08:51:02): Let's go.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:03): Let's go.

MATT LAUER (08:51:03): Come on.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:04): Matt, trust me when I say I have everything you need right here in this Dolly Starter Kit.

MATT LAUER (08:51:10): What is in here?

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:12): Everything. First of all, you can't be Dolly without hair, right?

MATT LAUER (08:51:16): No, you didn't.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:18): I did.

MATT LAUER (08:51:20): It's like looking in a mirror?

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:21): You know, if you see hair, what's the next thing you see on me?

MATT LAUER (08:51:25): No. I'm not saying.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:25): Yes. Here. Put your arms out.

MATT LAUER (08:51:27): Okay.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:27): Yeah.

MATT LAUER (08:51:28): So what happens if I spring a leak.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:30): If you spring a leak, do what I do every morning, I got the boob tube. You got to pump them up. You got to pump them up. This is my Botox gun.

MATT LAUER (08:51:40): This is your foundation?

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:41): Yeah, that's my foundation and you put it on like this.

(08:51:46): In your size, check that out. You got to walk in these but very carefully because you could kill yourself.

MATT LAUER (08:51:51): You could sprain an ankle in these.

DOLLY PARTON (08:51:52): So you have to walk them now in my shoes and you'll never walk again.

(08:51:56): There's a little bit of hillbilly swag. It's kind of between elope and a sexy drag.

MATT LAUER (08:52:01): I don't know if I can do the hips like you.

DOLLY PARTON (08:52:03): Looking good to me.

(08:52:07): We've got to practice safe hair.

MATT LAUER (08:52:09): Okay.

DOLLY PARTON (08:52:10): One last thing, you got to get your little Dolly beauty mark. I think we're ready for the big reveal.

MATT LAUER (08:52:18): Ladies and gentlemen, hello, Dolly.

(End VT)

MATT LAUER (08:52:22): Can I just say what an honor--

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:52:23): Amazing.

MATT LAUER (08:52:24): --what an honor it is to dress up as Dolly, but have Dolly Parton herself show me the ropes.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:52:28): That's so awesome.

HODA KOTB (08:52:29): Very cool.

CARSON DALY (08:52:30): It's cool.

MATT LAUER (08:52:31): Really cool.

(08:52:32): Well, we are back in a moment. We're going to talk to Billy Ray in a second, talk to Blake. Much more ahead on a Halloween morning here on TODAY. This is TODAY on NBC.

(ANNOUNCEMENTS)

HODA KOTB (08:54:54): Welcome back everybody. Welcome back. Billy Ray, you got some new music. We're happy to have you here. Tell us a little bit about that.

BILLY RAY CYRUS (08:55:06): I'm glad to be here. It's been a lot of fun today. The new album is called Set the Record Straight. That thing you heard there's me and Noah, my daughter, Noah. We did song Tulsa Time for Don Williams, a neat dance mix-up, I got a duet with Miley on the album. It's just a real fun album. And, yeah, it comes out November 10th.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:55:26): Good.

CARSON DALY (08:55:26): I'm really excited to tour it. So we're going to be out on the road. Shout-out to Noah and Miles. I love you.

MATT LAUER (08:55:33): All right. Billy Ray, thank you.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:55:35): Blake, how are you feeling about, Hoda? She's got a cutout of you in her office. She's got a dog named Blake. Now she's dressing like you.

BLAKE SHELTON (08:55:41): Look, I'm loving her more every day, every day.

HODA KOTB (08:55:46): It's not called stalking until you get arrested.

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:55:48): Megyn Kelly and Shania Twain up next after your local news.

MATT LAUER (08:55:52): All right. Coming up on Megyn Kelly TODAY--

SAVANNAH GUTHRIE (08:56:09): Ladies and gentlemen, Dolly Parton.
