HODA KOTB (10:26:10): He's out with a new album that's called Texoma. We started the interview by listening to his new single that's called I'll Name the Dogs.

BLAKE SHELTON (10:26:36): Oh, my God. I am so happy to see you looking like this. I mean you know what I'm saying.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:26:43): It was like a bit of a shock, right.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:26:44): Yeah. Yeah.
HODA KOTB (10:26:45): My favorite line from Halloween was like when I said, well, what do you think of this? And you go, well, I love myself so I guess I love you.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:26:52): And I love you more every day.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:26:54): Yeah. It's great for my ego. Wow.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:26:56): Yeah.
HODA KOTB (10:26:57): It's kind of weird a little, wasn't it?
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:26:59): Look at Hoda.
HODA KOTB (10:27:00): Did you think a little creepy. It was creepy.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:27:02): I had a hard time knowing how to feel about it.
HODA KOTB (10:27:08): By the way, it was fun. It was really fun. We had a good time. So this record has got a lot of obviously great songs. There is one song called-- what is it? Something about life-- If I-- what is that one?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:27:20): I Lived It.
HODA KOTB (10:27:21): I Lived It.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:27:21): Lived It. Yeah.
HODA KOTB (10:27:22): That song is a perfect song I think.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:27:25): I think it's perfect for this moment and time right now. I feel like it's-- you know, it's-- basically I relate to it because literally the lyrics go back to that time when I was a kid when we used to ride around in the back of our dad's truck and didn't even know that--
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:27:41): Had to wear seatbelt.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:27:42): Yeah. You know what I mean? It's like, we didn't even think about it back then. And--
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:27:46): Simpler times.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:27:47): Yeah. And--
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:27:48): Sweeter times in some way, right?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:27:49): Well, I feel like that was back before social media and we could all take shots--

BLAKE SHELTON (10:28:04): It's-- Lake Texoma, which is where, you know, I grew up going to the lake when I was a kid. And now I have a lake house there, right on the water which is-- I waited a long time to find somewhere on Lake Texoma, somewhere that I could put a house, you know. It's just hard. There is not a lot of area down there to--
HODA KOTB (10:28:24): Right.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:28:25): What a dream come true.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:28:26): Yeah.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:28:26): For that little kid--

HODA KOTB (10:28:40): Adam Levine said something on Howard Stern. What did he say exactly?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:28:43): I think he said something about me sending him pictures of my poop. Is that what you were going--
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:28:47): Poop.
HODA KOTB (10:28:47): No, no.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:28:49): Oh, my gosh.
HODA KOTB (10:28:49): I was going to say-- do you?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:28:52): No, but he said that on Howard Stern. I do google pictures of poop and send it to him.
HODA KOTB (10:28:56): Why? Why do you do that?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:28:58): Because it's Adam. He deserves it.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:28:59): He does.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:01): So what is this text? Oh, my god, you know.
HODA KOTB (10:29:05): Well, he said this about your relationship. They are so in love it's disgusting. That's what he said to Howard Stern.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:10): That sounds jealous. That sounds jealous--
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:29:12): You've got a gorgeous ubermodel wife and having his second baby. He doesn't seem to discontented.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:17): Do you say she's an ubermodel?
HODA KOTB (10:29:18): Yeah.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:29:18): Yeah, isn't she?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:19): What does that mean?
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:29:19): That means like one of the big super ones.
HODA KOTB (10:29:20): Super.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:21): Oh, I thought you meant like she's a spokesperson--
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:29:22): She doesn't drive for Uber.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:24): A spokesperson for something. Wow. It's a long way to fall from Victoria's Secret. She-- and she is awesome too. I love-- I love his wife so much. She's sweet.
HODA KOTB (10:29:37): When are you and Gwen-- when are you and Gwen going to tie the knot. Even though it pains me to even ask that question. Everyone is talking about it. Adam is talking about it. Everybody.

BLAKE SHELTON (10:29:54): We have tied the knot, we've gotten divorced, we're back together, it's off, it's on.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:29:58): Do you learn not to just pay any freaking attention to it at all?
BLAKE SHELTON (10:30:01): Yeah. I mean the only time is when it gets to be something that's really personal or because it's always lies but sometimes it's like next level lies where you're just going what in the hell-- and as long as people don't believe it, you know, or they take it with a grain of salt--
HODA KOTB (10:30:18): Yeah.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:30:18): --and see the-- see what actually the publication is and you go okay.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:30:22): Yeah, consider the source.
HODA KOTB (10:30:23): What I love about one of your videos is Gwen's kids are in that video, right?
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:30:27): Yeah.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:30:28): Mm-Hm.
HODA KOTB (10:30:28): That's a cool idea.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:30:29): Well, I just-- that wasn't something that was really, you know, thought out for a long time. That's actually her niece also. It was just like, hey, by the way tomorrow I forgot to tell you I've got to go do my video here across town. And what do you-- y'all should come be in it. You know, it's a wedding and whatever and the kids are like, yeah, let's go.
KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:30:48): Oh.
HODA KOTB (10:30:49): Oh, that's cool.
BLAKE SHELTON (10:30:50): They were only there about an hour before they got super bored with it.
