On 60 MINUTES last night, country music star Blake Shelton told us about growing up in Oklahoma and how he met his now wife Miranda Lambert

NORAH O'DONNELL: No, no, no. Thirteen is enough for me. Thank you.

All right. On 60 MINUTES last night, country music star Blake Shelton told us about growing up in Oklahoma and how he met his now wife Miranda Lambert. This morning we have part of the interview you didn't see. Shelton explain-- explains why he and Lambert can laugh about tabloid rumors of divorce and pregnancy.

(Begin VT)

NORAH O'DONNELL (60 MINUTES): Is the family expanding?

BLAKE SHELTON (Singer, 60 MINUTES): If you read the tabloids, that mean, gosh dang, I think we're on our seventeenth by now and-- and divorce. I think we have a kid for every divorce we get. It's crazy, the tabloids definitely have a good time with-- with Miranda and I, and we have actually a good time with it too. At first when they-- it first started happening it was like, oh, my God, are people going to believe this, I mean is this going to end our career? The people-- I mean what's this-- what's going to happen, you know, and-- and now I think Miranda's keeping a collection of all the pregnancy covers that she gets and-- and the tabloids. The last one that came out that said, you know, she's pregnant and I'm so excited that I vowed to never come home drunk again and she said, well, I can tell you right now that's a lie because you just came home drunk just now. You're drunk and you're reading this at the same time.

(End VT)

NORAH O'DONNELL: He went on to tell us that that if-- if his wife ever gets pregnant, he does promise that he's going to quit drinking for the ten months that that she is pregnant. Blake admits that will be withdrawal for him but it goes to show you the interest in their personal life is so vast just because he's so incredibly popular. And he's the hottest thing in country music right now.
