Startin’ Fires

SAM CHAMPION Now, it's time to have a little fun this morning. Blake Shelton's not only one of country music's hottest young stars, but "People" magazine has named him one of the sexiest men alive. And Blake has had five number one country singles in five albums since 2001, including "She Wouldn't Be Gone" off his latest album, 'Startin' Fires," and we welcome Blake Shelton to "Good Morning America." Welcome, welcome. So, I mean how is that, no, no, no, I got, I got to ask. I got to ask. How's that sexy thing working out? How is that working out for you?

BLAKE SHELTON I think there's just probably, whatever is going on this year, guys are really ugly. And they were pretty desperate for, for whatever they could put in there.

SAM CHAMPION No, but we do need to say you that you do have someone special kind of working around who, who appreciates you for your full, you know, attractiveness.

BLAKE SHELTON I guess so, Miranda. She's, she's probably not even awake right now. She went to go see Beyonce last night in Dallas, so there's no way she's watching me right now on television.

SAM CHAMPION We'll wake her up. We'll call her and wake her up. Now, off this album there's some really good stuff. This is a good fun, by the way we got to say, tweet with him, because you are funny.

BLAKE SHELTON Oh, man.

SAM CHAMPION But, let's get to the song now, okay.

BLAKE SHELTON Let's do.

SAM CHAMPION All right.
