All About Tonight

ELIZABETH VARGAS All right. - "The New York Times" calls Blake Shelton the most flirtatious, oh, I'm sorry, the most versatile of contemporary country singers. His seventh studio record, "All About Tonight," was been just released. And he's here this morning to - tell us all about it. This has been quite a year for you, you've had some major awards, you got a CD at the top of the charts, and you're engaged to be married.

BLAKE SHELTON And I'm tired.

ELIZABETH VARGAS And you're tired.

BLAKE SHELTON I think it's, I don't think it's a bad idea to maybe consider doing good evening, America, instead of good morning.

ELIZABETH VARGAS The hour's a little tough on you?

BLAKE SHELTON Yeah. Yes.

ELIZABETH VARGAS Have you have guys gone to bed yet, or is this like the end of yesterday or the beginning of today for you?

BLAKE SHELTON I don't even know anymore.

ELIZABETH VARGAS You don't even know anymore. You said you wanted to write an iconic song with a great pickup line. And you have one on this CD, what is it?

BLAKE SHELTON Well, well, we've got several songs that I think that, you know, you could use on girls, which we don't do that, I'm engaged.

ELIZABETH VARGAS And they're called?

BLAKE SHELTON One of them is "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking." And, and that's a little, you know, stalkerish.

ELIZABETH VARGAS Uh-huh.

BLAKE SHELTON And the other one is called "Suffocating."

ELIZABETH VARGAS 'Suffocating"?

BLAKE SHELTON Yes, which girls love that.

ELIZABETH VARGAS Really? Okay. Well what are you gonna sing for us right now?

BLAKE SHELTON I don't know. We're just gonna play something off the new, it's new.

ELIZABETH VARGAS Well, go for it.

BLAKE SHELTON It's a new song.

ELIZABETH VARGAS Go for it. Ladies and gentlemen, Blake Shelton.

BLAKE SHELTON Okay.
