Blake Shelton talks tweeting, pranking and proposing

Blake Shelton releases his seventh studio CD this week, 'All About Tonight,' the title track of which is his fastest-rising single to date. It's the latest milestone in a year that's included his first ACM and CMT award wins, trips to the top of the singles and album charts, and -- last but not least -- his engagement to fellow country hitmaker Miranda Lambert. The Boot met up with Blake at Nashville's Starstruck Studios for a serious chat about the album, but hey -- this is Blake Shelton we're talking about. You can't go too long without cracking up. So after our music talk, we played a little 'fill in the blank' game with the notoriously funny star, having him complete our sentences about everything from his upcoming wedding to that little Twitter habit he can't seem to kick.

The last time I got in trouble with my mom was ...

Over the invitation list for this wedding -- people that she wants on there versus people that I don't want on there.

What I'm looking forward to most about the wedding is ...

The music during the ceremony.

The thing that I really don't care about during the wedding is ...

Being dressed up.

I will wear ...

Miranda told me she wants me to be comfortable. She said, "I want you to wear your blue jeans and boots, and we'll find you a cool jacket," which shocked the hell out of me!

Ring shopping for me was ...

Painful, but I was lucky enough to find the ring at the first place I went to.

If I could have any wedding singer in the world, it would be ...

Hands down, no question, Neal McCoy.

Our wedding will be ...

Quick! Ten minutes ... 15 at the most. We'll be ready to go out and celebrate and have fun with our friends and family.

I would love to meet ...

Richard Simmons, just so I could take a picture of myself hugging him. I'd love to have a big old hug with Richard Simmons.

The craziest question that I've ever been asked in an interview was ...

Besides this one? [laughs] When Chelsea [Handler, host of 'Chelsea Lately'] asked me which one of the 'Golden Girls' I would most like to have sex with.

The last Twitter post that really irked me was ...

From somebody at a show who was mad at me for not singing 'Broken Heartsville' ... by Joe Nichols. I still get that to this day.

The one tweet that I regret sending was ...

Probably whichever one was the last one that I sent after midnight.

The 'Take 6 Tuesday' idea that my record label wouldn't let me do was ...

The Top 6 Ways to Lose Weight. Laxatives is one.

The best tour prank every played on me was ...

Brad Paisley took one of those stick-up air fresheners and took the stuff that smells good out of it and put raw chicken in it. For two weeks, you couldn't get onto the bus without throwing up.

My ACM award is ...

Still in a box that it came in, sitting on my kitchen table right now.

Next, I would like to win ...

A Grammy, a CMA award ... and maybe an Oscar.

The one album cut of mine that I wish had been a radio single is ...

'You'll Always Be Beautiful.'

The last time I read something about myself that made me mad was ...

A guy on the internet had ranked my albums from one to last, in the order of what he thought was the best ones and what I wasn't really paying attention to. That pissed me off pretty good.

The coolest thing about my hometown of Milburn, Okla. is ...

There is only one business that is still open in that community, the Eagle's Nest, where you can get anything that you need ... fried.

If you asked Miranda what my worst habit is, she'd say ...

Twitter.

I am trying to quit ...

Twitter.

Every single day I ...

Sing.
