Blake Shelton schemes ‘brilliant’ plan to leave the wedding planning to Miranda Lambert

Blake Shelton has finally come clean as to how he has gotten out of a lot of the planning work for his May 14 wedding to wife-to-be Miranda Lambert. Shelton unapologetically says, "I don't want to brag, but I think the way that I've weaseled out of a lot of these fiance/wedding duties is brilliant. It's brilliant!"

The 'Honey Bee' singer, referring to many of the day-to-day details of planning a wedding, has a strategy for doing as little as he can -- and it seems to be working (so far). "I'm not, uh, that actively involved in the wedding [planning]," Shelton explains, "because I have such horrible taste and I showcase that every opportunity that I can for her, so that she doesn't ask me to help."

He's talking about his lucky lady, of course, and goes on to say, "This is by design, I'm tellin' you. Like when she asks me for my opinion or to go to a website and says, 'You know, hey, will you pick out somethin' here?' I will purposely pick out the ugliest, crappiest lookin' dishes or napkins. And she'll say, 'Ah, you know what, I'll do it,' and then I go back outside, you know, and burn stuff ... which is something I like to do."
